Happy Monday, STADIUM. We have two new partners for your ordering pleasure this week! Hope you get to try them.
As always, ratings & feedback welcome to empower a stronger menu.
Welcome, Sergimmo Salumeria. Authentic Italian panino, pasta & salads straight from Palermo.
Two steps above your go-to deli, Sergimmo Salumeria brings together all of your classic Italian favorites and stuffs them into a sandwich, transporting you straight to Sicily. With homemade mozzarella and the absolute most high quality imported Italian meats, it’s tough to find anyone better in the City.
Sergio and Massimo’s father planted the seed of what would become Sergimmo’s when he immigrated from a small town named Torretta in Palermo, Sicily in 1969. Sergio and Massimo not only grew up in the food business but persistently worked to refine and acquired a taste for only flavorful foods.
Sink your teeth into the classic Chicken Parm Sandwich loaded with freshly breaded chicken and topped with their homemade mozzarella and tomato sauce. Go full Italian with the Il VIP – Proscuitto di Parma, mozzarella, spring mix, extra virgin olive oil and fig spread, a Sergimmo specialty!
Looking for a lighter lunch? Go for the Carnivale Vegetable Sandwich with mixed grilled veggies, mozzarella, and pesto.
At Sergimmo’s they’ve taken the Mediterranean “diet” and turned it into a lifestyle in the heart of New York City. As a Paninoteca and Salumeria, they make each meal with precision and love. No panino ever goes neglected- always Sergio and Massimo approved.
…switching gears to the rolling dunes of Egypt…
Welcome, Kusharista! An ancient Egyptian grain meets pasta that goes global….
Rich in cultural flavors and delectable accents, Kusharista is the newest addition to New York’s thriving gourmet international food scene.
Having spent years researching and exploring the world’s gastronomic traditions, Mohamed Moamen, a food connoisseur and enthusiast, set out on a mission to bring the best of the world’s flavors together. The Mediterranean’s healthy cuisine, the vibrancy of Mexican dishes, the rich texture of Italian food and the exotic flavor of Thai and Indian spices under one roof for an unparalleled culinary experience.
Kushari, the namesake dish, has a rich history dating back to the 1300s. It didn’t become an Egyptian staple until the 19th century when the British introduced the food to the cosmopolitan city, Cairo.
Italian immigrants soon added pasta and tomato sauce to the dish and…voila! Kusharista was born. The dish consists of elbow pasta, lentils, chickpeas, tomato sauce, and golden fried onions.
Kusharista takes it a step further with variations like the Asian Fusion Kushari with brown rice, coconut curry sauce, teriyaki glaze, and jumbo steamed shrimp. Want something more traditional?
Try the Mediterranean Medley Kushari, filled with couscous, whole grain pasta, chickpeas, tomato sauce, grilled chicken, lentils, cranberries, baby spinach, and golden fried onions.
Kusharista’s product-driven menu is a testament to the restaurant’s quality and purity of ingredients. Every dish is rooted in tradition, showcasing organic ingredients and pristine culinary inspirations from far-away destinations – all to make the New York food scene just a tad more exciting.
The American cuisine was built on innovation and eclectic experimentation – now, Kusharista takes it one step further to celebrate culinary hallmarks with a modern twist.
